The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
“Whoever goes to the mosque in the morning or in the evening, Allah will grant him hospitality in Paradise every morning and every evening.”
(Sahih Al-Bukhari, Kitab Al-Salat, Chapter on the Virtues of Those Who Go to the Mosque and Those Who Leave, 1/91, T: Qadimi)
Similarly, according to the narration of Hazrat Abu Hurairah (RA) in Sahih Bukhari, when a person enters the mosque, as long as he remains in his prayer place with ablution, the angels continue to pray for him: “O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! Have mercy on him.”
(Sahih Bukhari, Kitab al-Salāt, Chapter: One who sits in the mosque awaiting prayer and the virtues of the mosques, 1/90, T: Qadimi)
He said: “When you pass by the gardens of Paradise, graze well.” It was asked: What are the gardens of Paradise? He said: Mosques.”
(Sunan Tirmidhi, Abu’ab al-Dawa’at, Chapter, 2/191, I: Qadimi)
Similarly, there are many traditions narrated regarding the sanctification and veneration of mosques, the high status of mosques in Islam, and the good news of great reward and reward for those who enter the mosque.
In fact, along with gatherings for prayers, these mosques are actually the center of invitation towards monotheism, the center of preaching the religion, the center of teaching the rules of Sharia, and the center of intellectual training, heart and spiritual reform, just as in the past, these same mosques were also the center of judicial decisions, ifta and judicial rulings.
